You encourage me to ask them.
But the only query I have is:
Why don't I have any questions?
And I am horrified.
I think the cat won the battle this time.
If your daily life seems poor, do not blame it; blame yourself, tell yourself that you are not poet enough to call forth its riches, for to the creator there is no poverty and no poor indifferent place. (Renee Rilke)
Las Vegas, as it happens, does not have a neighborhood recycling program. This should not be a surprise. A city that seems to pride itself on personal convenience at an exorbitant ecosystem cost probably would not take the time to invest in a recycling system. So while I go to great lengths to make myself look like an idiot to take pictures in my dumpster, it strikes me that these objects will be immortalized in the landfill. These discarded objects need no pictures to speak for them, to remind the world that they exist. Hopefully in the days to come I can offer a photographic voice for the creatures and habitats that do need to be heard and preserved in this fragile environment.
