Sometimes the aftermath is the best way to tell the story of the event. Action shots are risky artistically and often result in being pummeled by objects such as tomatoes. Both yesterday and today, I chose to photograph the action once the chaos of the "main event" had subsided. This pictures was shot after the annual "Tomatino" in Reno in which participants throw tomatoes at one another for hours on end. And yes, as an innocent bystander I was pelted by a tomato. Go figure I was wearing a white shirt.
