One of the great things about working in the outdoors each day is that you get to watch the slow progression of spring. At the beginning of the week, these buds were closed tight. By the end, two flowers had popped out. I only wish I were around for the weekend to observe the unfurling of the other buds. Once again, the species is unknown.
