Driving back from California I encountered traffic about two hours outside of Las Vegas. Car after car slowed or pulled over to take in the amazing sky before us. At one point I counted five individual rainbows in the sky. A few minutes later, THE rainbow appeared. A full one hundred and eighty degrees, this beautiful band was too great for my camera lens. Maybe with a little fiddling in Hugin I can produce the effect. Until then, behold this small beauty! I was literally bouncing up and down in my seat with wonderment. This is one of those moments of grandeur that will brighten my day for years to come.
